She remained there to complete her fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease, specializing in Non-Invasive Cardiology. She also performed extensive research in Heart Failure under Drs. Thierry LeJemtel and Edmund Sonnenblick and has published in leading cardiology journals. She has been practicing cardiology for 16 years, 11 of which have been in the midst of the Fredericksburg community.
Dr. Banerjee provides comprehensive cardiology care, from prevention of cardiovascular disease to disease management of coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, valvular heart disease, as well as atrial fibrillation, aneurysms, and stroke. She has a special focus on the management of heart failure. She uses the latest advancements in medical technology to evaluate and optimize cardiovascular health.

About Ashok Talreja, MD, FACC, FHRS

Ashok Talreja, MD, FACC, FHRS, is a skilled cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist at Premier Cardiac and Vascular in Annandale & Dumfries, Virginia. Dr. Talreja has over 10 years of experience providing comprehensive care for complex cardiac problems.
After earning his medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr. Talreja went on to complete his residency training in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York.
He continued with further specialized training in cardiac electrophysiology at the same medical center. During his training, he also participated in clinical research under the mentorship of expert cardiologists, Dr. John Fisher and Dr. LeJemtel.
